The Sportful Gran Fondo in Feltre, is to say the least one of the toughest Gran Fondo's on the Italian calendar. The slogan for the event says it all, "Only for Real Cyclists".

With picturesque scenery, wide open roads and a fast start lulling you, your thinking, how easy is this? Then.. it's the first climb, and knowing that today you have it, or you don't.

Tour Details

For this event we have included 4 nights in a hotel, 3 evening meals, all transfers on the Thursday and the Monday. Race entry for the Gran Fondo. Plus a musette full of race goodies to see you through the weekend.

Tour Programme

Thursday 12th - Arrival at Venice Airport

Arrival at Venice Airport.

We will be there to meet you on your arrival at the airport and to transfer you to our hotel. Once you have had time to refresh yourself and unpack you will have time to prepare your bike and gear, we will be on hand for mechanical assistance if needed. If you are feeling like you want to test yourself a little before the proper riding starts there will be time for a quick spin.

Evening - Group welcome dinner

Friday 14th June - Group Ride

Today's ride will be an easy affair, the idea is to get a few easy kilometres in without to much strain. We will head out to see some of Sunday’s course. A quick coffee stop before we get going again on our route, we will lunch in Feltre and venture to the Sportful outlet shop to see if we can snap up any bargains, after we will collect our race packs and have a look around the race village. Then back to our base to refresh before going to a Prosecco tasting near the hotel. Then back to enjoy the culture and cafe of the village piazza.

Evening - Group dinner.

Saturday 15th June - Group ride.

Today's ride will be a few easy kilometres in without to much strain. A quick coffee stop before we get going on our route before heading back to base. Afternoon, we will venture to the Piazza to enjoy the culture and cafe of the village, or free to do your own thing.

Evening - Dinner, tonite you are free to organise your own.

Sunday 16th June - Sportful Gran Fondo

An early start for the departure of the Gran Fondo, we will have an early breakfast organised to give you maximum time to get you to the start grids. Then it is up to you as you ride the Gran Fondo, choose if you wish to 'go for it' or just appreciate everything just a bit more and take it easy on which ever course you chose, be it the Gran Fondo (216km, 5,300mt) or Medio Fondo (122km, 2650mt) routes. We will meet up at the Race village pasta party before heading back to the hotel to collapse or freshen up.

Evening - Celebration dinner with stories of how your experience of a fabulous Gran Fondo went.

Monday 17th June - Departure

Morning transfer to Venice airport for the return flights home.
