Cycling in Surrey has something for everyone, from riding parts of the 2012 Olympic road course, the iconic Box Hill, the mecca that is Richmond Park, to the lesser ridden climbs of ColdHarbour, Leith Hill, or Mountain Biking in Peaslake and the Commons around Oxshott and Ashtead, the amazing network of country lanes, picture postcard villages and quaint teahouses, we at Bespoke-Velo have a ride to suit your every need.

We cater for Road riders and Mountain bikers, of any ability, any age, from one cyclist to a group of mates. Whether you are:

Road or Mountain Bike Racer, looking for a challenging workout or somewhere different to train
The Sportiver, who wants to improve and get tips on how to ride a better sportive
A Club rider, who's looking to improve, brush up on skills, or a specific technique
A weekend social cyclist, who wants to enjoy the scenery, and go from coffee shop to coffee shop

The benefits of cycling with Bespoke-Velo are, we live, cycle and train in the county, we know all the quiet county lanes, the byways and all the best roads to ride.

The typical ride day

We meet you at Surbiton Train Station, then before we head out, we enjoy a coffee and discuss how the day will unfold, then provide you with a fully guided and supported ride of your choice, with energy snacks and drink, Mechanical support and a wonderful lunch in a *Ye Olde Pub, all you have to do is enjoy the ride.

All Bespoke-Velo Day Rides are £25 per rider: or £20 per rider for Groups of 6 or more.

Your Tour Leader

Bespoke-Velo is headed by Chris Beales, experienced Road, Mountain bike and BMX racer, but also event management and consultant. From being a private event promoter, to founding a racing club, to running mountain bike and road events, and also competing. Some of his achievements:

1999 awarded Australian Commissaire of the Year
2007 Became Australian Veteran road champion
2010 Outright Champion of the CraggVale Hillclimb, Yorkshire
2010 Fastest time and course record for the 80mile Preseli Angel sportive, Wales
2011 First non-Italian to win Passo Pordoi hillclimb, Champion for Masters category
A year as a Tour Guide and bike technician in Italy
